The art of the whip making goes back to the pioneer days of our country, where stockmen worked the country with a whip to drove and muster cattle.

Plaited for strength and durability, cow and kangaroo hides were the popular leathers. The "crack" the whip makes is the sound of the cracker at the end of the whip going faster than the speed of sound.
